Our Mission, Values and Vision
Our Mission
The mission of the Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network, Inc. (SEFBHN), is to develop, support and manage an integrated network of behavioral health services to promote the emotional well-being and drug-free living of children and adults in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties.
Our Values
Integrity: We will live up to our ethical principles, even when confronted by personal, professional, and social risks and economic pressures.
Honesty: We will not say things that are false and will never deliberately withhold information, mislead others or misrepresent facts. We will be candid, even when it is uncomfortable to do so, and will share information openly and freely while being cognizant of what is appropriate to the relationship.
Promise-Keeping: We will keep our commitments. We will not make promises that cannot be kept and we will not make promises on behalf of SEFBHN unless we have the authority to do so.
Fairness: We will create and follow policy and procedures that strengthen our ability to achieve results that would commonly be viewed as just, evenhanded, and non-arbitrary.
Respect for Others: We will be open, direct and thoughtful in our communication. We will honor and value the abilities and contributions of others. We embrace the premise of taking responsibility and accountability for our actions.
Compassion: We will work to minimize harm in our actions, speech, and attitudes. We will maintain an awareness of the needs of others, and we will act to meet those needs whenever possible. We will act in ways that are consistent with our commitment to social responsibility, seeking out ways to be of benefit to the state of Florida, and the citizens that we serve.
Our Vision
Our vision is a seamless, accessible, recovery-oriented system of behavioral health care, driven by consumers, providers and other stakeholders, in which innovation and collaboration are the norm and diversified financial resources comfortably support an array of prevention and treatment practices, leading to excellent outcomes for individuals served, providers, and the community.
